This Saturday 14th meet outside the Corn Exchange, Witney at 2pm and walk over to the river - the Pelican crossing near Waitrose car park or wait en-route by the river and join in and bail out when you like.
The route will have various exit points to suit your available time and energy levels - or go the full distance down to Duck Lake and around past the famous Colwell Brook, the scene of many TV news items and Panorama.
There will be some WASP volunteers who will be looking around in the river looking at invertebrates and taking some water samples as well as there to talk about rivers, pollution and how we can stop it.
Dress for the countryside and the weather. of course.
