On 27th June we were asked to provide briefing material for Witney MP Robert Courts to meet Government Minister Michael Gove regarding the River Windrush.
Mr Gove had already seen Countryfile. Here is the photo of him with the Windrush Against Sewage Pollution photos in his hand.
Mr Courts reports a constructive meeting and talk of plans for improvement and questions for the Environment Agency.
We at WASP like a good plan but not as much as we like URGENT POSITIVE ACTION. We hope Mr Gove will intervene and get things moving.
It was a great milestone for the campaign but we still need your help to spread the message and bring the river back to health by public demand..
